Journal History
The International Journal of Digital Business and Strategy, within the scope of Technology and Digital Business, was established in 2023 by a group of academics and scholars in Jakarta, Indonesia. Several of its founders now serve as editorial board members of the journal. From its inception, it was managed and operated by Sigma Global Insight (SGI), utilizing Zera Open, an academic platform, for digital publishing. Embracing a fully open-access model, the journal aimed to build a substantial portfolio of articles, fostering accessibility and the dissemination of knowledge in the digital business domain. The journal prioritized inclusivity and broad impact, aspiring to achieve indexing and recognition at both international and national levels. It sought to provide a platform for rigorous research and innovative insights into digital business and strategy, catering to scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide. The journal's commitment to open access not only facilitated widespread availability of its content but also enhanced its visibility and relevance within the academic community. Under the management of SGI and leveraging digital publishing capabilities, the journal quickly expanded its reach, attracting contributions from leading experts in digital business and strategy. This growth contributed to the development of a diverse and comprehensive repository of scholarly articles, covering a wide spectrum of topics at the intersection of technology and business. As it aimed for recognition and indexing in reputable international databases, the journal continued to uphold rigorous editorial standards and foster collaborations with academic institutions and partners nationally. This strategic approach not only bolstered the journal's credibility but also positioned it as a pivotal resource for advancing knowledge and understanding in digital business practices and strategies.
